Our Pastor
Hi! Thanks for checking out the website!
My name is Jake Roudebush, and I have the pleasure of serving as pastor of Beaverdam.
Here are a few things about me:
I began as Beaverdam’s pastor in January of 2019.
A native of Galax, Virginia, I was called to the ministry in 1993.
I’m a fan of anything coffee-related, as well as guitar-related (metal, jazz, classic country, and bluegrass are my favorites).
I LOVE watching folks experience Jesus and His role in our salvation throughout the whole of Scripture, and I LOVE seeing folks get connected to the things of God!
I’m a proponent of biblical exposition and Christ-centered preaching. I preach and teach a biblical worldview. As God’s people, we are to engage our ever-shifting culture through the eternal truths of the God of Scripture --not the other way around.
You can find my sermon podcast (Kingdom Encounters) on all the standard media outlets.
I’ve served churches in Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky in areas of worship leadership and discipleship.
I’ve always dug school, and the following are where I’ve spent time learning:
I invite you to be our guest at Beaverdam!
